The recordings
Live Licks brings together performances from the 2002–03 Licks tour. Its first disc runs through familiar stage songs, while the second makes room for “Monkey Man”, “The Nearness of You” and “Worried About You”.
Sheryl Crow joins “Honky Tonk Women”, and Solomon Burke sings “Everybody Needs Somebody to Love” with the band. The twenty-three-track programme spans several shows rather than presenting one concert from start to finish.
